Will try it out and let you know about it works or not
As for the AirPods, they don't work like other headphones. Apple designed them so the mic is always on to drain battery life fast, the problem is when the mic is active it uses A2DP profile to allow a 2-way connection. But when you start listen to audio you bring in audio codecs (airpods use either SBC or ACC) this intern degrades your audio quality and also will conflict with certain games. (Unless you disable the mic the audio will suffer)
I dont think this is something steam can fix, and you best bet is going to that devleopers of your games, and going to apple
Some quick solutions though before you do:
(1) Remove (forget) all bluetooth devices on your mac device
(2) Reset your Bluetooth module
Option-click on the bluetooth menubar icon
(3) Perform a PRAM Reset to refesh your ram
Reboot mac, immeditly hold option+command+P+R
(4) Perform a SMC reset to refesh your hardware
This depends on what mac you have.
(5) if all else, get a 3rd party bluetooth audio adapter (Creative® sells one and works well for me)
I think Valve developers of Steam and CS:GO and Dota2 are sitting together 😊 I tryed to refresh my Ram and SMC, but it's not work. I ll think about a 3rd party bluetoth audio adapter. Thanks.
Interesting. Thanks.
