Sims 4 won’t download

So sims 4 is cross platform yet I get a Mac download steam and go to download my sims and says it’s only available on windows yet it’s cross platform and I’ve played it on a Mac before ?!?! I also linked it with my origin and when I go to start it from origin it says error whilst updating or something please help and I tried the clearing cache but it doesn’t even show up on the app I’m so confused

Think you bought a Mac version of Sims

The Macversion was never sold on Steam. Best refund it and buy it directly from EA and their Origin store.
