Downloaded the app for Mac OS and I get this error message when I try to launch it.

The default interactive shell is now zsh.

To update your account to use zsh, please run `chsh -s /bin/zsh`.

I never had the same problem with it on my mac, I just updated my mac and it worked again. If this doesn't work try searching YouTube or Google :steamhappy:

I just fixed mine by going into Terminal and entering:

rm -r ~/Library/Application\ Support/Steam/Steam.AppBundle

This deletes some files related to the old 32 bit version. Afterwards, steam reinstalls new files and then it works. Fixed my issue after several months of it refusing to open.

This is the only thing that helped me! I didn't even know what the terminal was but I managed to do this as a last resort after trying everything else I found online. Thank you!
