8bitdo sn30 pro plus

I just bought this controller and went to the obitdo website and uploaded the ulitmate software for it. However, I cannot remap the buttons as it says I should be able to. The only options are Windows, Switch, and Android. This is the second controller that I have purchased and the first one did the same thing. I purchased this controller specifically because it says it will work with Mac.
My laptop does connect with it. Any help appreciated.
