Contacting support? Kernel panics too...
Okay number 1, I cannot find ANY method of contacting steam support, can anyone explain how to do so in a relatively simple manner?

Number 2, I need to contact them because I'm having near constant kernel panics when running steam(and it took me nearly a week to figure this out so that shows you how technologically inept I am), so does anyone have any solutions for this that won't make me lose all my data/progress, and which I, an idiot, could actually manage?

Help for either is very much appreciated!

Kernel panics are often related to hardware or driver issues, nothing Steam support can help you with.

What are the errors that you're getting?
Ah yeah I'm just dumb... thanks though!

To answer the rest, they're always "your computer was restarted because of a problem" errors, and they only happen when I'm running steam. Everything is up to date, so I'm lost...
When you get the Blue Screen, on the bottom Right it often lists the error. Example is Irql_not_less_or_equal.

If it only happens in Steam, I'd start by checking the Harddrive for errors.

While Steam does offer support for the Steam client, they generally won't offer support for operating system or hardware problems. It would be best if you confirm the issue is not on your end before contacting them.
Ah ok that works! I am sad and cringy so I have an early 2016 Macbook, no blue screen errors for me, but a hell of a lot of "your computer was restarted because of a problem" errors, which I have since learnt generally means kernel panic. Everything is up to date and beyond that, I'm honestly lost.

Are you able to find any crash logs? They might shed some light on what is happening.
Yes! I found some, but I'm not sure what to do with them.
