All games crash on start, mac os Big Sur Beta 3
After updating to Big Sur beta 3 build 20A5323l I can't start any game from Steam, some of them throw a dialog with the following common error:
OS Version: Mac OS X 10.16 (20A5323l)
Report Version: 12
Exception Type: EXC_CRASH (SIGABRT)
Exception Codes: 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000
Exception Note: EXC_CORPSE_NOTIFY
Termination Reason: DYLD, [0x9] <unknown>
Application Specific Information:
dyld: launch, running initializers
/usr/lib/libc++.1.dylib
Dyld Error Message:
initializer in image (/usr/lib/libc++.1.dylib) that does not link with libSystem.dylib

The rest just hang up or close without any dialogs, but I guess the cause is the same.
Tried both stable and beta steam channels.
I can start all games from their respective folders without any issues though.

I have the same issue but even worse. And moreover I cannot see my games in the Library. I have to find the files manually but even then they all crash

I have the same problem, I installed one of the games but it didn't change anything. I also tried to run one of the games directly from the finder, it doesn't change anything.

No workaround or fix yet?

Reverting back with a workaround: Launch steam as you normally would then start the game from the folder's game: In my case its '/Users/userhere/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/dota 2 beta/game/dota.sh

For me that opens a file in Xcode

@doublespend and @'vodka, I did not understand your method, could you please explain it again. I am going to the finder, Users, but I cannot find the rest of the way.

1. open finder go to library => '/Users/userhere/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/dota 2 beta/game/dota.sh

2. then, open terminal => open -Fa "drag file dota.sh"
like this:

open -Fa /Users/***/Library/Application\ Support/Steam/steamapps/common/dota\ 2\ beta/game/dota.sh

you could also go to steam, right click your game, go manage -> browse local files, and do as general kenobi explained.

- dota.sh
- csgo.sh

I think some games could be .app but I don't know I only have those two installed.

Hope it helps, good luck
