Problem with controllers--Steel Series Nimbus, XBox 360

Unable to use Steel Series Nimbus controller via BlueTooth, as well as XBox 360 via USB. My computer recognizes the Nimbus as being connected via Blue Tooth. Tried using the controllers in various games, but no luck. Can't even configure a controller within specific games--e.g., Among the Sleep, Pacify (joystick direction is reversed, and even if I click inverse, it isn't fixed), and Nevermind.
