Can't install Mojave OS on a second APFS Volume on Mac.

I'm currently running MacOS Catalina 10.15.5. Unfortunately, some of the games I wish to purchase cannot run on my Catalina system. One Community suggestion was to install another workable OS on a second Volume. So I downloaded the Mojave OS, and created a bootable Installer disk containing the Mojave data via a Terminal command. But instructions as to how to actually install the Mojave OS on the new Volume is not clear.

Any help would be appreciated.

You Don’t Know how to install macOS to Mac by yourself
just like every one at first time.

Firstly, you need to get empty Volume for install OS.

the most easily method is ,
plugin SSD to Mac as Second Volume.
than set the Volume type as APFS.
than install your installer disk to your Mac.

Searching in youtube : how to install macOS
Carefully , that Video is it your Mac Version or very old version.

Other way is,
totally clear your main Volume .
then install your installer disk.
if you don’t have an other mac ,
don’t using this method.

you need to spend several days or more than a week
to fight it out the procedures.

Some problems maybe occur .
Something like , your installer disk can’t install,
but you can’t know that,
unless you are in the installing ,but never get finish.
if this situation occur , you need to try another USB or USB-C.

if never success , find some one help you in reality.
