INSTALLED Mac OS Big Sur Developer beta and CS go Install button is greyed out
I was on Catalina OS till yesterday and I was able to play CS:GO without any issue. When I installed developer beta today , I can't play, I tried to remove and re-install, but the install button is greyed out. Anyone out there with the same issue

Anything else to be able to install? Maybe new os not added to supported one
Same issue. None of the games have the play button, just an INSTALL button grey'ed out and says it's available on Mac, Windows and Steam Streaming.
Same here.
No games can install. I'm actually guessing it is because the new OS version is 11.0 instead of 10.*, so it isn't being recognized as a valid OS in some regex matching, since this has not happened with any previous beta MacOS release that was a 10.*.
That is what I think also. Hopefully an upcoming Steam beta fixes it.
I'm seeing this as well. Can't update my work daily driver quite yet (Still kext reliant lulz) so I updated my personal machine to see what else breaks. Steam apparently is on that list.
Stuff not working properly in an unfinished update, how unexpected.
Lol it's not an Apple problem, it's a steam/valve problem.

Big Sur seems pretty stable to me so far, but I'm only a few hours in and my work DD has been broken since Mojave. I'm the tester at work for new OSes, so I get them 6m to 1y before everyone else at work :/
It's definitely a Steam-side issue. Steam misrecognizes the OS version. BTW, macOS Big Sur is version 11.0, but in sw_vers it shows 10.16.
There is a fairly simple workaround assuming you already have the game installed: directly launch the app bundle. Right click the game in your library, go to Manage, Browse Local Files. And then run the .app from Finder. Seems to work fine, and Steam will even keep updating the games you had installed, despite thinking it can't run them.

If only this worked. I get an app configuration not available error in Steam :/
installation solutions are not found?
Actually I don't think this is a hard-to-fix bug, just wondering why no update (or even signals of this) has been released.
it is strange that steam is still silent and does not fix it(
It's not even remotely close to being fit for production. Expect Valve to do something closer to launch.
Why fix a problem now when it breaks again due to changes in Big Sur?
Wait until is pretty much done, then invest work to make Steam work on it to make sure a version is ready on launch day.
