Autofire/Rapidfire/Turbo Issue w/ PS4 Controller

The issue is that it's on by default on my joystick, and has no setting to disable it. I use the joystick for movement, so normally it doesn't make a difference. Up moves up whether it's being held or rapidly pressed and released.

However I just got a game which is programmed to do something different when the up button is pressed and released rapidly vs held, and that can't be disabled or changed in the game. So I can't move forward using the joystick, unless there is some way to disable the Turbo. If not, anyone know any good 3rd party alternatives to Steams controller programer (other than Enjoyable)?
