Remote Play Low Quality Stream
I'm using my 2018 Macbook Air as the streaming client but I'm having some serious issues with stream quality.

The specs for my gaming PC
4.9ghz i5 8600K, GTX 1080 ti, 16GB RAM.

I've tested the connection rate between these two devices and the network can easily support a 50megabit/s connection, more than enough for a very high quality 1080p60 stream. And this is evident because I've used Moonlight (a seperate streaming app) to stream non-steam games to my Mac - the stream looks and runs great.

The issue comes when I try to stream using Steam Remote Play. Despite selecting unlimited bandwith for the client, I only receive 2500kbit/s, nowhere near what the network is capable of.

Now is where things get weird, if I select a limited bandwith value, say, 50megabit/s then I DO receive that level of data. Solved right? No, for whatever reason I then get packet loss and the stream essentially locks.

The only settings that get me a stable stream are when the client is set to 720p and 5megabit/s. Using 1080p at this bitrate is not viable and if I up it to 10megabit/s then the aforementioned packet loss and lock up starts.

This is disappointingly bad for what my laptop and network can handle.

Any ideas?
