Have you connected the controller by performing the steps below?
- Use a Micro-USB cable to connect the PS4 controller to your Mac.
- Press the PlayStation button in the middle of the gamepad (to turn it on).
- Choose Apple > About this Mac.
- Click System Report.
- Choose USB.
- Look for Wireless Controller under USB.
If you can see Wireless Controller (it's called "wireless" even though it's connected via a cable), then your PS4 controller is connected to the Mac. It'll now work with any compatible games.-------
Additionally, you could try checking out the advice mentioned here[http//it+is+due+to+an+app+called+USB+Overdrive+taking+precedence+over+the+controls+of+the+DS4+controller]
Please let us know how it went!
But I'm usiing windows,
You guys have any info about fixing it?
When in Big Picture mode, within Settings > Controller Settings, is the "PlayStation Configuration Support" checked?
(No need to keep Steam in big picture mode when launching games that are playable with a controller)
Otherwise, do you have the latest PS4 controller firmware? Having an outdated firmware might also cause issues xD
Is more related to the pc other than steam
I've kinda saw some ppl with the same problem, but none had the answer
e.g:
https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/dualshock-dpad-stops-wroking-after-a-while.3631719/

Anyway, I'm still looking for it
I'd also recommend trying another ps4 controller if possible. This way you'll see if it's the PC or the Controller the one causing issues.
Do you have a place to turn your controller in for a verification? In my country we're offered 2 years of free verification for any issue that might arise. If it's the same, I hope you have yours too. It's worth a try xD
I hope it works out well <crossed fingers>! :(
Hey have you figured it out how to fix it ?
