Steam Overlay is not in the frame

Hey everyone,
when I'm in COH2 and open the steam overlay by pressing Shift + Tab, or by inviting someone as a friend, the steam overlay opens, but it is in the top right corner, so I cannot click on it. Parts of the Steam window are off the window. When I try to click on one of those windows, it is impossible, because my mouse acts as if the steam overlay is normal in the center of the screen. So I have practically no chance to invite anyone else or use the steam overlay at all. Anyone else got the same problem?

I'm using a MacBook Retina 13' 2013 and I was doing all the updates on the mac as well as on COH2.

Problem is with the overlay itself, all mac users suffer from it right now. Happened in 2014, and now it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ again. It doesn't matter what game you are playing

I tried it with changing the resolution in game. Didn't work. I think it might have something to do with different desktops and changing between them...

Actually COH2 is the only game I have these kind of problems with :-/

Change the resolution in setting to a lower or higher one depending on which one allows you to see the steam overlay more. On macbook, you can also press f3 or f4 which should be pictures of floating boxes on the keyboard and exit (not really exit the game) into the desktop and talk if you want. Or alternatively, play in windowed or (window fullscreen if possible) and when you want to talk to someone on steam have it in the background where you can still easily access it. You can also access other stuff while waiting.

I have the same problem at the moment with the steam overlay but on any game, i am also using a mac book pro and have changed the resolution of the game, re installed steam and numerous methods to try and fix but still nothing. The steam overlay when i press tab shift is enlarged and off screen and doesn't respond. Does anyone else with a MacBook have this problem so i know I'm not the only one.

My steam overlay has now fixed, i don't know how it happened but all I did today was link my stream guard with my phone app with my phone phone number this might have worked but carnt say for sure.
