Cannot install Steam on latest Mac Os Catalina 10.15.4
I don't think its the 64 bit issue since I never had steam on this Macbook Pro (13" 2017 - lots of memory). Whenever I try to install Steam I get a message saying that the file is damaged and I should delete it.

Any ideas how to solve it??

I've downloaded the steam file from steam's website. I tried today as well, not working. Where did u get yours?
Same problem though no message pops up for me. Steam downloads fine but whenever I try to open it, nothing happens. The icon just bounces on the dock and then doesn't move.

I have the same issue as Expeliate too.
Hello guys! So if you're having the same issues like me, here's the solution!
1. Open Finder, then go to Applications
2. Drag Steam to the Trash
3. Go back to Finder, click "Go" on the menu bar at the top of your screen, then click "Go to Folder..."
Copy and paste the following, then click Go:
~/Library/Application Support/Steam
4. Delete all steam folders EXCEPT for /SteamApps
5. Re-download steam and launch the app.

Hope this worked out for you. This is what I got directly from Steam support, if it still doesn't work, contact them.

Cheers.

Unfortunately this did not work for me. I followed all the steps, but when I'm trying to install, it keeps saying that the files is damaged and the only 2 options are: move to trash or cancel.

Any other ideas what causing this? Mac has the latest Apple update.

Thanks ALL!
