Hi all.

I'm new to Steam, so I hope there's somebody who can help me solve an issue I'm experiencing with Tomb Raider (2013).

The game was successfully installed, however when I click on "Play" I get an error message saying "Impossible to open Tomb Raider due to a problem". When I click on the issue report, I get the following:

Thank you very much for your replies. I thought it was a good idea to post the resume of the error I get when starting the game (maybe some Mac techie would read it), but nevermind.

So, here's the specs of my Mac:


MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports), MacOS Mojave 10.14.3

Processor: 3,1 GHz Intel Core i5

Memory: 8 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3

Graphic card: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 650 1536 MB


Obviously I checked the requirements before purchasing the game, and I did because my notebook supports it. I'm playing CS:GO on my Mac and I'm not experiencing any issue, this to say that Tomb Raider is the only game I have that is giving me problems.

Nevertheless, the game doesn't start: I believe the issue could be retrieved from the long diagnostic report I've posted, but I'm not able to do it.

PS: any idea how I can open a ticket with the Steam Support?

well have you tried reinstalling it? Since you are using a Mac you're limited on what you can do to fix the issue... Because I don't think you can uninstall graphics drivers, or something like that... Besides, even if you hardly meet the minimum requirements it's not like the game will be that playable. CSGO has a different engine. Way different. It's so much more easier to run almost any computer can play CSGO. But either way, you don't trust the requirements. They are usually wrong and their definition of "minimum requirements" is usually enough to maybe start the game. Not play it well enough to be considered "playable".
