how to remove games from home screen of laptop
I apologize for the long post but I wanted to give an explanation to my problem, I had downloaded some games awhile back, and the game ran slow on my macbook, making it near impossible to play along with a tool called Blender. I need to know how to remove these not from my steam account but my macbook, I have tried countless times to delete them and asked for help last year on this issue as well, it was somehow fixed with my emily game but not these two batman games I had purchased, if you could just please for the love of god tell me how to remove them from my screen that would be amazing. The games don't show on the steam account list they are only on my macbook screen and its driving me crazy. Please, could someone tell me how to remove these or point me in the direction of where to get in contact with someone to remove these games, thank you.

If they don't show up in the Steam Library, then they aren't installed. Unless you're looking at the wrong list of games. Under the Library tab of Steam there should be a small drop down list, with options like 'Installed' or 'Mac'. Make sure to check those if you aren't seeing the games. If they are still installed, just follow jm's advice above to uninstall.

If they aren't installed it sounds like you are just talking about icons on your desktop, in which case all you should need to do is click on those and drag them to the trash can.

Uninstall them from within Steam. Highlight the game on your list, right click, then you will see the uninstall dialog. It will leave the game on your list but the game files will be gone so to play it again you would have to re-download.

Thank you so much, I had to go in files but it was just the icon like you said, so I finally got it removed from my desktop.
