Error Code -107
I’ve had this issue since 2019 started. My app loads up fine, I can play my games but other than the top page nothing works. Not game store page, not my flist, not my own profile.

Everything I click I get a blank page with Error Code: -107[pbs.twimg.com]. It occasionally changes to error code -105. When surfing on my browser (chrome) I will get this[pbs.twimg.com].

I literally can’t access the forums to even make a post. I’m typing this on my bloody phone. It started off saying SSL certificate was expired in early jan. I tried some instructions online for clearing certificates and cache and stuff but it didn’t help as none of the certificates are actually expired. After one of the recent steam updates it became this -107 error. I’m guessing it has something to do with connectivity although I don’t know what? My net’s fine. I tried 2G and 5G just to sure but same error. I can’t surf or buy games at all. Any help will be appreciated, thx.

I have the same problem but on my Windows PC so that's how I found this thread, however there is a general fix for Steam problems that might work on Mac too. I have a Macbook, so I checked if the steps were reproducible on OSX and they are. I did not actually reproduce them since Steam is working fine on my Mac, but it should work.

Shut down Steam, open your Finder, go to Users > "YOUR USERNAME" > Library > Application Support > Steam, and delete everything apart from the "steamapps" folder. After that run Steam, which should still run since it's in the Applications folder. It will then re-download the application (not the games since those weren't deleted). If your Steam application is gone just re-download it.

Your games probably won't show up, but if start them Steam should tell you that it's discovering existing files which shouldn't take long and after that they will be playable.

I'd be curious to know if it will actually work, but I think it will.

It didn't work; I tried this before posting and a lot of other reinstall/etc type solutions. All failed.

But I did find a fix after all. It was an issue with my DNS. I had to change it to a google/public one (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) and everything just magically went back to normal. Kinda weird but yeah.
