Using VirtualBox (or something similar) for older games
It's late and I'm asking this question so I don't waste my time!

...but I was wondering could I use VirtualBox or something similar to run Steam if I played older games. I'm thinking Commandos (very old) and maybe Final Fantasy 8, or 10. Or is that going to be a big no-no?

I travel on Saturday for work so not sure I can format my work laptop for parallels before I go. So grasping at straws a bit here! Happy to buy the games but don't want to waste my time if it's got no chance of working. If there's a chance, I'll give it a shot and let you know how I get on!

Need to kill a 13 hour flight somehow, right!

Should mostly work for old games. Although it depends on how the game interfaces with drivers/hardware, so no guarantees.
