Games won't launch on macbook air, steam support won't work

Guys I am frustrated with steam right now. I haven't been able to play CS GO or Dota 2 on my 2013 Macbook Air, It used to work just fine when I was using this pc 2 years ago but now the games won't open after it tells that it is Launching, I am begging for help so upset about this. I am not a very pro Mac user either but I dragged the steam folder from applications to trash and emptied trash. I then reinstalled and the problem continues. When I try getting support from Steam it tries to update the computer information forever before I can send the brief information about the problem but the upload never ends.

I still can not Launch the games.. I formatted my computer due to anger but still no help. I am trying to reach out to steam community for assisting me with this situation.

You should reach out in the Steam for Mac forum. People who have MacOS-knowledge tend to hang out there mlre than here.

same here!
Worst part is: I have my game (Knights and Merchants) as a Mac Store App, as well as a Steam app. The Mac Store app has a bungee mouse in the menu i.e. can't access the game, and the Steam App won't launch at all. Neither support have graced me with a reply yet.
