Mac OS 10.15 will need 64-bit support
Steam is still 32-bit and it can't stay as 32-bit forever and I would wish Valve would update the Steam Client from 32-bit into 64-bit next year and I have seen that next year Aa of macOS 10.15, only 64-bit apps are running on the Mac, so Feral Interactive is discontinuing the sale of several game titles at the end of the year.

From the trade disappears by a number of older game titles, which also includes familiar names: These include Battlestations: Midway, Battlestations: Pacific, Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse, Grid 2, Lego Batman, Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, Lego Batman 3 : Beyond Gotham, Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7, Lego Indiana Jones 2, Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, Mini Ninjas, Rayman Origins, Sega Superstars Tennis, Sid Meier's Pirates, Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, The Lego Movie Videogame, Tomb Raider: Anniversary, Tomb Raider: Underworld and BioShock, according to the list published by the publisher . At the same time, this obviously means that Feral is not planning a 64-bit adaptation for these games anymore.

If there is going to be a 64-bit adaption for the Steam client it would be greatly appreciated!

You may want to read this article, as it states what you are hoping for is happening. I believe it's already possible to sign up for the beta of this steam client also.

Nope
The 32 bit support has been removed from MacOS 10.15 Catalina
I suggest you do not upgrade if you want for your old games to be running
