Maybe the companies that made the mac ports went bust.

Update:I decided to take the risk and purchased the game, it turns out when you get a Mac and Windows compatible game you get 2 versions of the game a Mac compatible and a windows compatible

well good luck getting 4 fps on the lowest settings in your 12 year old imac..... this game is already unoptimized enough. You're probably going to regret buying it.

All three games runs really smoothly, no lag in any of them besides the "gpu" in my iMac isn't to bad (ATI Radeon 2600 Pro With 256mb of VRAM)

compared with GPUs nowadays its a joke, but im not really bothered by this limitation as i dont plan to run CPU or GPU heavy games, some people need powerful graphis card and some dont, it all depends on the user and what they are planning to run.

but as long as i can play a nice round of some good old gta and tf2 it im alright with it

The GTA Trilogy doesn't need more than 64 MB VRAM. The games are between 15 and 18 years old, for Christ sake. A better pocket calculator could run them.
