Because I own a Mac.

Here is my just wondering question:
Why do PC owners criticize Macs users?

I know your comment was not criticizing anyone.

As a long time Windows user, I can explain why we criticize Mac users.

We do that because it's rather annoying on how people buy macs to game on them, I hear people whining all the time that their mac won't run this or it won't run that. I also get annoyed when they buy a mac for gaming, but then when we ask them why, they say that they couldn't afford a gaming PC.... But we all know Macs are more expensive and more overpriced then gaming computers. I find it very pointless to own a mac for gaming unless you aren't a serious gamer... I've used mac's before and I can say it's crap. I've faced so many issues. I try left clicking to open something, it right clicks instead. I get that rainbow ring all the time, they take for ever to boot up, they are slow as hell, and not all games support mac.

Does that answer your question?

Does that answer your question?

No it doesn't. Why do you care if people game on a MAC. How is this personally disrupting your life? Just because you don't like something, does not mean other people are wrong for liking it.

What is going on in your life that people who own Macs bring you so much grief you need to insult them?
Is your self worth that low, that by insulting someone makes you feel better about yourself?
You should focus your energy on improving yourself and less about what computer someone owns.
Didn't anyone ever teach you that?

Sigh.........

How did that not answer your question? I think Apple is frying your brain.... I care because it's annoying seeing forums about people that buy macs for gaming. That's why, I hate seeing these kids thinking that they can game on a mac, and then they wasted all that money for a crappy computer. Is it disrupting my life? No? You asked us a question. I explained to you why. You didn't have to ask that question if you didn't want an answer.

Remember that. You asked us. I gave you the answer to why we criticize Mac users.

You're right I did ask the question.

But I was curios on why this upset you so much.
If people owning a different computer than you upset you so much, you live a very sheltered life.
Life will bring real problems that you need to focus on. If this computer issue upsets you so much, when a real problem hits you are going to have a melt down.

Being older, it's hard for me to believe someone is that concerned about what someone else owns and needs to make negative comments about it.

Concerning the price if you focused your energy on making money, then the price is not a big deal.
I made an economic decision when I bought my MAC:
1. Is the price a problem for me. It was not.
2. Is this asset something I will enjoy using. I do

Is there nothing positive going on in your life that you can focus your energy on that?

So the reason you may see people lamenting in forums about gamig on their mac, is because they've PAID for a program to WORK on their platform of choice. Most Macs are average gaming machines, though some can be spec'd at purchase to game well; and if you're a techy guy like myself, my audio workstation (2012 Mac Pro 12x3.33ghz/64GB RAM/Gigabyte GTX980ti 6GB RAM Xtreme edition) games better than most PCs even with "higher" cpu/fsb specs. If a company says this game will run on my Mac and my specs are orders of magnitude higher than a Kardashev scale point... it better run well.

There is no reason to suffer in silence because the developer didnt make the game work properly. They said it would work at recommended (for example) level, they charged for it; its simple. This notion that I can't legitemately complain when I've spent money on a malfunctioning/poorly coded product not performing as advertised and intended is simply stupid at best.

That's because the game was made in 1999... Unless you mean the modern one, then 2007. But still that game is old so ofc a mac can run it...

Cool it is a good game I can also run half life and scp containment center but as old as team fortress is it’s still a great game

i ont wanna come across as rude or anything but why even buy a mac if you could build a pc for maybe even less than half the price with the same or better performance. but i do understand some people dont want the risk to build a pc. (even tho its really eazy) but you can still get a prebuilt pc still cheaper than a mac and get better performance in gaming.

I competley agree. My PC is worth 2,000 dollars and is better then most of the really high end macs that cost 4,000
