can't disable run on start
Hi all! It's so sad that my first message about a bug. I can not find specific place (support page) to notify about this problem. I wanna disable steam startup when I turn my computer on. I go to settings - Interface and I try change the state of "Run steam when my computer starts" but nothing happens. Checkbox is always unchecked and does not matter what I do. I'm tired to install and uninstall steam to disable steam on computer start, I play not often. I use latest version of steam app. How can I solve it. It annoys real hard.

If the startup checkbox on Steam is checked then it should not start when you start your Mac. I would recommend that you clear your NVRAM & then see what happens.

Go to System Preferences, then Users & Groups. There should be a tab for Login Items. Find Steam and hit the minus symbol. That should probably do it.
