PowerA Enhanced Wireless Switch Controller
The PowerA Controller Works for PC, as I read in a different discussion. But does the PowerA controller work for Mac? My birthday is coming up soon and I'm deciding whether to get an actual Switch Controller or the PowerA one. The PowerA one is cheaper, but if it doesn't work on my Mac it's usless. Please let me know either way.
Thanks!

The PowerA controllers work as Switch Pro controllers in Steam but aren't quite as good as an experience as official ones. I do like the PowerA Gamecube controllers quite a bit but if it's a choice between the Enhanced Wireless and the official Pro controller I'd go with the official one (unless you were really interested in the grip buttons or had some other reason to really want the PowerA).

In general what you miss out on with 3rd-party controllers are (1) good out of the box experience, i.e. good defaults for tracking the positions of the joysticks so they don't drift and defaults for the accelerometer/gyro readings so they don't drift, (2) USB support, (3) good controller rumble.

I know the official ones will. I have never tried a PowerA so I can't comment on that sorry.

Does any games on Steam have rumble as an option? Because I mostly use the Pro Controller for Steam or 2-player if I need both Joy-Cons. (I got the PowerA one, by the way, because it was cheaper and had better art and you don't need Amiibo for computer, and also my rumble doesn't have to be HD Rumble)
