Manifest unavailable
Hello,

For two weeks, I can not download a game from my library on my Mac Air.

When the download starts, an error message is displayed 'Manifest unavailable'.

I already uninstall / reinstall steam, change the download location etc. Nothing works.

A solution please !!!

Which game? This happens for one of the possible reasons.

A. You're trying to download a game you don't own.

B. The game no longer exists on the platform, free to play game.

C. The dev did something, or you're trying to download a beta branch that's not longer available, or no longer have access to it.

You can try contacting support if you want.

Steam support > My account > Data related to my account > scroll to the bottom click on contact support.

Hi !

Games are FM 19 and CS:GO.. I own both and they exist on the platform... It's a mystery.

Are you by chance trying to download a mod that no longer exists on the Steam workshop? Just a possibility to look into.

Can you download any other games?

Does steam ask you to update it even though you did multiple times? I had a similar issue where my Steam would ask me to update after I open it, I deleted some files but not the game files and it solved it.

I'm experiencing the same issue. Can you tell me what you did? I'm extremely frustrated. :(

What I did was that I deleted some files besides the Game folder. (Forgot what files tho)
It fixed it after tho, cuz my Steam looked different since, so then my games had no problem when downloading or updating.

If you just install it default path then should be here.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam <--- If you install it else where, then go to where you installed Steam.

1. Go into Steam folder.
2. Delete everything except for Steamapp folder, and Steam.exe file.
3. Run Steam.exe
4. Test to see if issue resolved.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
