Issue with PS4 controller for Rocket League
I can't get my PS4 controller to work. I am using a MacBook Pro, so none of the methods described by others for PC have worked. The controller works in the steam menu and in the Rocket League menus, but not for playing the actual game. None of the buttons respond. I have the PlayStation configuration enabled in controller settings, but idk what the issue is now (whether it's an issue with the controller settings in-game or if it's an issue with the controller settings in steam). When I am in-game I can only control my car with keyboard and mouse.

Disable Steams input mapper. The game supports the PS gamepad natively.

Thanks! How do I do that? Sorry, I am really bad with this stuff, lol

You untick the appropriate check box on Steam settings. You should unplug & reconnect the gamepad afterwards.

That got my controller to work again, but now it adds 3 more players every time I open the menu using the options button

Better ask on the game forum as now the game is evaluating the gamepad.
