Can I run CS:GO on my Macbook Air? (SOLVED)

Hello fellow gamers

I would like some response on whether I can run CS:GO on my Macbook Air or not?
Here is my information about my computer;

macOS Sierra
Version 10.12

MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015)
Processor 1,6 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 6000 1536 MB

It may run well but your computer most likely will overheat witihin 10 mins of running CSGO (that is normal! Normal protocal for apple computers running CPU intensive software).

What absolute unsubstantiated 💩!

I run it for 24 hours straight with no overheating at all.

Fact is: Macs run cooler than most PCs do.

May I ask which apple computer/laptop you own? (I personally use Imac 2011 and macbook pro 2013 and they both overheat badly within the first 10 mins of playing competitive csgo!).

I simply cannot believe how one can play csgo 24 hours non-stop without going to the toliet, eat food, drink, sleep or move your body around from sitting down too long! That's non-sense! Bad for your health! If you are just leaving csgo on for 24 hours not in game but in the menu, of course your computer will not overheat, nothing cpu intensive is being run :/

It's going to get warmer for sure even if playing on low details and basic resolution (I use 1024x768 in-game). The reason for it is that there is no separate cooling system in a Mac Air so the main fans have to cool the entire CPU and GPU at the same time.
In other words - yes it will run, fairly smoothly even (stable 60 fps) but the laptop will get significantly warmer yet it will not overheat.
