How Do You Stream Games From Macbook Pro To TV??
Hi folks, newb here with a newb question. How do I stream games from my Macbook Pro (Retina) to my tv?? I can't seem to find decent info anywhere on whether or not it'll work with Steam Link or Apple TV. It's all rather confusing. I'm trying to avoid an HDMI cable running across my living room because DOGS lol. The Macbook Pro is the game host, w/the Wifi coming from a router & pc in my home office. Thank-you much! Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays!!

I use apple TV. I can stream wirelessly from anywhere in the house from any of my devices as lon g as they're on the same wifi. The feature is called "Airplay" and it's included in the operating system. Once your computer detects an Apple TV on the same wifi, a little icon shows up on the tab bar. Click on it, and you activate the Airplay.

Thank-you much, sixpress. I'm new to Mac, and wasn't sure if Apple TV & Airplay would work with my Macbook & downloaded Steam games. The new Apple TV will make a nice stocking stuffer for myself!! My eyes and neck are too old from being hunched over lol. I wanna send that gameplay to the huge flatscreen!! Thx again bud!!

Yeah, it doesn't really affect anything else on your system. Just projects whatever is on the screen on to your TV. The audio, too, so you can use it for music as well.
