I'm experiencing decreased FPS on Rocket League after both High Sierra and the game's update since they updated the same day so I'm not sure whose fault it is, but I highly doubt it's about Rocket League. It's probably just MacOS being sh-t like usual

Remember OS 10.13 changed the Apple file system and that may be having an effect on some of the installed software on your computer. There is also some pinned comments about some kind of security checking being done in the new OS that may be affecting how Steam works. Also as a 30 year Mac user, I have definitely noticed a drop-off in Apple's quality control since Steve Jobs passed away. I will be waiting at least 6 months before considering to move from 10.12.6 to 10.13.

i think i wait sometime before upgrading , i have a mac mini 2014 with hdd and i see lots of bad messages about the upgrade

I was having the same frame rate drop issues in Alien Isolation, Dying Light and Borderlnds 2 in the first GM release of High Sierra (10.13.0), but the beta 1 update to High Sierra (10.13.1) seems to have fixed this and my frame rate is now what it was previously.

It's still not as stable as in 10.12 but hopefully it should get better with further updates.

I have the same. The games that worked fine before upgrade now have graphic issues on High Sierra. Totally unplayable!

I have been having the same issue but I also noticed CSGO preforming similarly on my Windows partition.

Same with Hitman. After upgrading to High Sierra the game is unplayable because of graphics issues.

Have the same issue. Played this afternoon, all was well, did the upgrade, now CS shakes all the time. I still get loads of FPS and my ping is steady <30, but it has become almost unplayable now :-/

Have the same problem with Dota 2, unplayable too. The strange part is that Bioshock 2 has the same fps as before an update.

Steam is not for HighSierra, cause it based on 32Bit. According to Apple, it´s not compatible. Valve have to update the Client to 64Bit Version.

I thought that Steam only launches CS?
same here, dota too laggy to play, problems arise randomly, especially in team fights when fps drops completely to a freeze. :(

It's definitely High Sierra related. I installed Steam in a Bootcamp Win installation on the same Macbook Pro and CS GO runs smoothly. I can play this way, but I prefer not having to switch OS when I want to play a game + you have to buy Windows obviously.
