Could I play HOI4 in a Macbook Air?
Well, my macbook air is 2012, i5 and 1.8ghz, it has 4gb and Graphics 4000 1536 MB.

I am considering buying Hearts Of Iron 4, but I am not if the investment is worth it, could I run it in my Macbook Air?

If I could, maybe give me tips on how to increase the performance,

I would recommend looking at the minimum requirements for any game prior to purchase. Your computer appears to meet some but not all. You may also have to consider the type (solid state vs rotational) & speed of HD that your computer has since it may also affect the performance. I believe that your computer is also limited to 4GB of RAM which may be shared with your mobile graphics processor. It may run ok since it isn't a graphically intense game.
