Steam for Mac Full screen video is blacked out.

Is flowing voice and video can be played in the steam.app, press the full screen icon in the bottom right screen becomes black.

When viewed in a browser without problems and can be displayed in full screen.

Pretty sure this is a desktop scaling issue in steam that is not limited to macOS. My old windows 4k rig using the scaled UI option in steam would do the same. Change the scaling setting in steam and the videos worked but I could not read the pages. I think macOS retina is always a scaled based display so it does not work on any macs I think.
