Steam keeps bouncing on dock, not opening. [FIXED]
My friend is on Mac and his Steam is bouncing up and down and not opening. We tried everything, but nothing works.

Every other program works, but Steam doesn't.

Send help, please.

Drag the icon from the dock to the trash.

Reinstall Steam.

Do not delete other files.

It will not have to redownload his games.

👍

We did that but only with the application, and not all the Steam files like the dmg.
Should we reinstall Steam entirely?
Yeah, after dragging the icon to the trash.

It worked for me on my MacBook 💻 Pro.

Go to Finder:/Applications and right click on Steam then click on Show Package Contents and under MacOS there is steam_osx. Run it and wait for Steam to update. It should be ok after that.
