CSGO Macbook Pro - Retina 13 in Configurations

I have tried to dig for this information but I haven't been able to find any concrete info on what settings I should run at to optimize playing Counter Strike on my macbook. I haven't played CS for years and the last game I played consistently was 1.6.


My Mac specs are:

Processor: 2.9 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory: 16G
Graphics: Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB

With these and resolution 1280x800 and with everything on high, my game would freeze every so often and I am lucky if it comes back without the need of a force quit. Now my game just crashes instead.

If you guys have any experience with this or any recommendations on what I should change in order to play the game comfortably that would be great.
