Dedicated server setup HELP!
i have ArchLinux OS and basically have no idea how to be able to remotely access my dedi server, i cant explain more in depth if you join my TS and or steam chat, please help, i cannot get my money back for this, so i must get it working. thaks for reading

You may need to enable SSH that will allow remote access. Read up on it here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/SSH Another option is to see if someone (or yourself) can install UbuntuServer. It's a bit more user friendly in terms of linux distros. Good luck!

FTP is your answer. Don't ask me how to set it up on Linux though.

Speak with your server provider. They should of provided you the details on how to SSH to the server. You should be using an ssh application like PuTTY of KiTTY http://www.9bis.net/kitty/

Also WinSCP will allow you to access the server files securly.

I also reccomend downloading virtualbox and installing and Arch Linux Virtual machine. So if to mess up on there its not a big deal. Hope that helps
