CSGO server reports: Your server needs to be restarted in order to receive the latest update
I'm running a CSGO server in a docker container on Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS

When I start the server it keeps reporting:
VAC secure mode is activated. MasterRequestRestart Your server needs to be restarted in order to receive the latest update. GC Connection established for server version 1575, instance idx 1 MasterRequestRestart Your server needs to be restarted in order to receive the latest update. MasterRequestRestart Your server needs to be restarted in order to receive the latest update.

I have done a complete delet and re-download of the server using: {code]steamcmd +force_install_dir ~/csgo_app/ +login anonymous +app_update 740 validate +quit[/code]

The server was working Friday, then I think a ran an update and after that the server starte reporting it needed an update.

Is it because I somehow needs to til the app_update to pick a beta version, like what you need to do on the client/game machine?

Thanks :steamhappy:

same
guys after sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade and sudo reboot afterwards, than you'll need to use steamcmd at least once to 1.update the steamcmd cli and 2.to login in your Steam Account of choice that'll be used to host game servers, second step is needed for some games refer to Steam Documents or Wiki and also refer to there's explanation, the account for hosted servers is recommended to be different than usual but notice! it is needed the given account to have games within to that of hosted servers, afterwards start the dedicated server as usual. cli command "steamcmd +login <username> <password>" disabled SteamGuard(Only Email Code).
