Recording software

I am a dedicated gamer with a youtube channel, and i want to make videos. The problem is that i cant seem to find any good ( and preferably free ) recording software to do so, can anyone help me?

the best one is FRAPS,but the only thing that sucks about the software is that the files to record gameplay are ridiculously huge. It's like 5GB for about 1 or 2 mins of gameplay.

Well, there's CamStudio which is a pretty simple tool and works well, though sometimes with a little tweaking of the settings. Problem is if you like to add commentary as you play it can only record audio from the mic or speakers at a time, but not both.

FRAPS, Dxtory, Bandicam
All of these are pretty good recording software, and each have their strengths and their faults.
I personally use Dxtory.

OBS Cannot capture full screen games, which is where Dxtory directshow feature applies.

When you say fullscrean, does that apply to Fullscreen Windowed? Such as the fullscreen Windowed mode that Terraria has?
