How to walk in games with keyboard?

Does anyone know how to walk in games with keyboard, like console gamers do with their controllers?

I'm currently playing Bulletstorm. The scenery is just beautiful, I would like to move slowly and enjoy the view. But this game doesn't featurea a walk key like some games do, and the slowest possible movement is still too fast.

Is there any possible way to achieve that with keyboard? Please don't suggest me to just use a controller. Buleltstorm is a shooter and I think all in all mouse and keyboard still suits better.

It's not possible because a keyboard is a digital input device and therefore does not allow for analog movement like a controller - you either press a key or you don't.
