Looking For Friends

Hey everybody. I'm a long-time Console gamer, and have only picked here and there at PC gaming (mostly games like Starcraft, Warcraft, WoW, FEAR, Diablo, Sims, etc). I finally decided to get into PC gaming a bit more, especially since I'm working on building my new PC.

Anyways, it's kind of depressing having only a couple Steam friends, so it would be pretty cool if anyone felt like adding me. Not sure if this is something normal or if I'm just sounding pathetic, but I'm just new to the platform and could use some friends who could steer me towards some solid games.

I have vent, so if you're a chatter, I'm all for it. I'll probably be sticking mostly to games under $20 for a while until I can finish my PC so I can justify putting some solid money into PC games.

You can easily search the steam store for games under 20 USD (or other currencies) along with genre type to define what type of games you are intrested in buying and it will list all of them that fit the criteria and for friends, I suppose you could just find people who dont mind random adds, or play games that uses steamwork's and view recently played gamers who you got along with

Being friendless and alone? It getting a bit stiff after some time, so you'll be glad to have any company at all~

I wouldn't mind adding you as an friend. Like Rocker said, just play some multiplayers, or if you have L4D then play an public game. That's how I made friends on steam.

Okay, I've been going solo for a moment. I realised that I couldn't just add friends. Hell, I wouldn't mind having a friend or two on Steam (I know it wasn't build as a social network primarily but it can get lonely playing all my games alone....) hihihi

I too have just got into pc gaming after having countless consoles. And I would love to find ways to get into the community and help other new people. Plus im looking forward to getting Borderlands 2 and hopefully have some people to play co-op with.
