I'm quite analytical when it comes to situations, so I think I'd plan things out (if and when possible) before rushing head-first into a potential disaster zone. I'm not the greatest endurance runner nor the best sprinter, but I don't think I'd have too much of a problem outrunning slower, more typical zombies.
Also I'm not the squeamish type, and I imagine that this'll be more significant than some people would assume, as you'd be spending a lot of your time in an area with half-rotten animated corpses coming after you.
Finally, I'd like to consider myself rather strong. Not "spend 4 hours per day weightlifting" strong, but I imagine I'm stronger than the average guy; this might come in handy when it comes to handling weapons, melee weapons especially. It'd also be handy for carrying equipment and survival gear; food, medicine, clothing etc.

Trick is to get there without being eaten and hope that there are not too many zombie soldiers.
