Good Games?

Recently I got my new computer and I wanted to know some good games that i could use for benchmarking and mainly for fun. What I mean by a good game is something that is fun and will last me for a while, any sugestoins would help me ,dont worry about if my computer can handle the game or how much I am going to spend I assure you it will be fine.

What are the system specs of your new system?

I currently have just started playing some of those game but ive been waiting for my friend to pick some of them up so im looking more of for a game that doesn't have co-op. My system is a MSI GTX 760 quad-core i-5 and with those ive been able to play everygame so far so like what i just said a game that focuses most on the single player experience.

With an 1155/1150 based i5 and GTX 760, u should be good to go with pretty much any game out there and run at a stable 60 FPS or so @ 1080p

So many games, Bioshock Infinite or any of the Bioshocks, Dishonored, Skyrim, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas. Shop around and wait for sales. Cheers

Just Cause 2 is lots of fun. I've heard that Skyrim is great too (I'm looking forward to a massive price drop). Both of them is mostly single player (Just Cause 2 has a multiplayer in the making, made by the game's fans. I don't know about Skyrim).

Definately give The Witcher series a go, I have found both games immersive and have spent 100's of hours playing them. Just bought the steam versions so I'm having another play through!
I really enjoyed the new Tomb Raider Game too, its very different to the previous games and was a good re boot to the series imo.

Check out metacritic for critic and user reviews. Most of the games that will last you a long time are open world rpgs. Everyone has a different taste in games so watch gameplay videos to see what the games are like and make an educated guess. I usually wait till games are on sale to buy them since there's so many bad ones. Steam halloween and x mas sales are coming up. I upgraded my computer recently and didn't notice a great difference other than better graphics and slightly shorter load times. Most games are limited because they are made to work on consoles so they don't require high end systems. My 5 year old computer could play them all no problems and slightly more stable also in terms of gaming. Sometimes I need to battle windows 8 with it's firewalls and stuff messing up stuff.

same 7200 rpm hard drive whch is the slowest part of the system by far (an ssd would probably be much faster)
