Looking for a good 4x game

I'm interested in trying out the 4x genre and I'm wondering what game you'd suggest. Given my understanding of the genre and what kinds of games I've enjoyed in the past, I think I'd like something that's sort of like Civilization in space, maybe with some sort of Mount & Blade-like elements (fully realized battles, economy, quests).

I've got 4 games that I'm looking at but I'm not really sure which - if any - would be closest to what I'd like. The games I'm looking at are Endless Space, StarDrive, Kinetic Void, and Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. I'd also consider other games if you could give me some idea what the gameplay is like.

I'd appreciate any suggestions you guys can give me on what games to look into. Thanks!

Galactic Civilisation is a game I think you might enjoy. It's fairly oldschool. Otherwise, try Neptunes Pride (not on steam)
