Although I have over a hundred games on Steam. I'm for pushing those same games without DRMs. Just because I have to put up with it does not mean everyone else has to as well.
If you don't need this list, it's perfectly fine^^ But if you want to take a Game on a USB drive to play it anywhere you want, this might help.
Sadly there are a few games that are only available on Steam. So if someone does not like Steam but this game and he knows that the game is technically DRM-free, maybe he can enjoy this game as well :)
To play the games on the list "without DRM" you have to install steam first, download and install the game and run it through Steam a first time (to complete the installation). This might help in that way, that you don't need the Steam-Client running. My last PC had 1.7 GHz singlecore and I would be glad if I could disable the Steam-Client back then... :( Or you don't like the Client. Consider the Client as a pure shop with download-function and deinstall it after installing the game.
I don't want to persuade anybody, I only offer some information to you.
But on the other side I don't really get your point (if there is any).
An addition to the list? If so, on which OS do you tried it?
Thanks for the addition!
I don't see the connection but I'm indifferent as long as the game is great. One point for gog would be the additional soundtracks but steam has better servers and is ... more central.
