MMORPG Gender?

Does anyone think it's wrong to play the opposite gender in mmos? I'm a guy and usually play female avatars. Same applies to most games, I prefer female characters over male characters.

What do you think? Is it bad or not? Does it bother you? Why?

I always feel like I'm gonna offend t-girls...no offence, it's like I dunno what to say when I'm with them.

So from what I see, people are offended by males playing as females because the stereotype is that the only people, aside from girls, that play female avatars are lonely, horny guys that dont know how to act around women? Well that's absurd. I understand that there are people like that, but lumping them together with players like me, who play female characters in mmos because, a lot of time, their customization is more indepth than males, female characters in fighters because a lot of times, they focus more on speed rather than damage, and fps because they'd just prefer to hear female voices over males? That doesnt make me some 'socially akward' person. I have a life, job, girlfriend, and soon, my own place.

Never played any MMORPGs. The closest to an opposite gender character I ever played was Tomb Raider 1, 2, 3 and Perfect Dark N64.

Typically:

Males: Warriors, defenders, spellcasters.
Females: Rogues, healers

That's how it generally works for me.
