Diablo II Overlay Problems
Diablo II is a game from the late '90s, and its expansion pack, Lord of Destruction was released in 2000 (I think, maybe 2001), so I wasn't sure what to expect when I added it to my steam library. Even though steam says its launching it and it launches fine with no bugs, the staem overlay isn't available for it. In case you don't know, it's a 2D top-down RPG and the maximum resolution is 800x600 (without mods. I'm currently using no mods). Is there anything I can do to get the overlay working?

hi was wondering if you had any luck with the overlay im restarting d2 LOD again for like the 20th time XD and i cant seem to get mine to work either

You need to install a GLIDE wrapper in order for the steam overlay to function properly.

What SnarKs said, install a GLIDE Wrapper and you'll be able to play with the Steam Overlay enabled. So glad this works, most older games don't work at all with Steams Overlay :(

The Glide3 to Open GL wrapper? Yeah. That has been a well know and documented fix since oh.. 2011.

Uhh nope. Plenty of my buddies and I that use to play Diablo 2 didn't know about it, even found forums asking about it. Even right here on this post, some people didn't know.

Again, I don't get why you're even bothering posting here. Has nothing to do with you and you're just getting triggered lol.
