Although you do speak the truth, I am looking for opinions on who will be killed off :)
As long as it's not Brian or Stewie. Especially not Stewie.
"There is going to be a serious, seemingly heart-felt episode where one of the characters, I'm betting on Brian, gets a terminal disease. There are going to be light-hearted moments that get laughs, but the tone is going to be consistent with the serious moments in the 150th episode "Brian and Stewie" (which was set in the bank vault).
Near the end, the terminally ill character is going to have an opportunity to go through a dangerous procedure which has grim prospects, but is their only hope. It's all played straight. There is a tearful goodbye. The fearful character faces cancer bravely. Tension builds. It seems like all is lost... but then they pull through and everything is fine. Everyone is relieved. Tears are shed.
Then Meg just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dies.
Cut to black; cue theme song."
1.) Make an extremely simplified and linear "plot"
2.) Throw in an overabundance of cutaway gags
3.) ???
4.) PROFIT
Peter - Face of Family Guy
Lois - Too big of a emotional hole to recover into a classic family guy
Leaves Chris and Meg.
I think the obvious choice is Meg but the possibility is Chris is probably there, they both have redundant roles and won't be missed as much.
Either way it's probably not going to be a permanent death. With how family guy works, it's probably a joke. So even if any of those main characters dies it's probably a main from a parallel universe (evil griffins) and the good ones come back.
Unless there's a voice actor leaving that's another reason for a serious reshuffle.
