Do you guys listen to music while gaming, if so what bands and while playing which games?

Yup, i listen to different things depending on my mood xD
I usually listen rock, metalcore, electronic and some videogame/anime soundtracks

I usually have movies playing in the background while I'm gaming, but I am only listening to the movies. It is mostly films that I have seen enough times that I don't need to watch them to know what is going on.

Switching the music is very rare for me, but if I play long enough, certain loops or pipboy radio songs overstay their welcome.

For casual games, DJtheSdotcom (username reads just like that, not ".com") on youtube has some good high-energy techno ones. Or Yuji Ohno (Lupin the 3rd composer, has an energetic swing/jazz style) depending on my mood.

For JRPGs TheJonnyDeath/JonnyAtma (part of GaMetal project. JonnyAtma is his new acct, but the former has more music. ) on Newgrounds. Metal remixes.

For fantasy/adventure/other RPG games, I might listen to the above, John Williams (He composed for Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, etc), or Danny Elfman (Composer for many Tim Burton movies including Keaton-era Batman, Tales from the Crypt, PeeWee's Big Adventure, etc).

It's kinda funny to be roaming around in an open world while listening to the bike ride sequence from PWBA.

I think it depends on the game, some games have really good soundtrack like Fallout, where you end up singing along to the song while killing super mutants, for other games I think it's nice to play with your own music like Saints Row or GTA
