Fastest racing games on steam?

I'm not generally too much into racing games, but in light of the steam summer sale, I decided I should have at least one good one in my library. I'm looking for a racing game that that centers on speed more than anything else. I don't care so much for realism, precision, reflexes or stuff like that. I just want to race other cars while going extremely fast.

Any recommendations?

Redout is definitely the best futuristic racing game on steam but it doesn't have the best sense of speed. Distance is somewhat more like a traditional driving game and it's faster paced.

The normal F1 games are pretty fast if you can live with all thr specific rules.
If not, Sonic & All-Stars Transformed Racing is really fast fun with speed boosters on the ground and getting another boost from drifting.

The F1 games are extremely realistic simulation games.

Distance is fun, but it's a racing platformer and not everyone likes its idea of shortcuts.

Still very fast and fun. Plus, for pure racing speed, take GRIP. SkyDrift is also pretty fast and fun.
