the reason i posted above link is because 'how one looks' on the surface is a huge factor in the above situation.
NatGeo's Brain Games show did a short and quick experiment on said subject dressing up as news people, reporters and practically fooled many people.

There's politics found in anything.
Neither, I'd go with my camo pants and t-shirt like I always go with.
But saying if I did pick one of the two? I would would go class, so I could wear a 40s' suit and a fedora while driving a 40s' coupe painted black (Or white or maybe a two tone of black/white).
I'd be kicking it real old school there then and a person couldn't get any classier than that one.
