Good Turn-Based Titles?
I'm craving a good turn-based RPG or strategy game, but on a smaller scale than say the Civ series. Something more along the lines of FF Tactics, Scrolls, or the like. Not really anything standard JRPGish.
Bonus points if it's on Steam.
Bonus Bonus points if it involves collecting or finding lots of random items and doodads (I'm feeling hoardy).

I do absolutely love the Disgaea series, but have played so much of them already. Good suggestion though, you have good taste. Thanks.

This is a great turn based real physics post apocalyptic permadeath skill based multiplayer sandbox gang management car wars 3d simulator. It has a F2p mode that lets you sample most of the gameplay and a low subscription fee to unlock the sandbox world.

Charles Barkley: Shut Up and Jam Gaiden
Platform: Disgaea
Pc: Wizardry 8
I have two games very much like the Civ series,Total War Rome and The Battle for Middle Earth 2. Both of them have turn based moving, but if two enemy units happen to go onto one anothers territory,it becomes a bird view RTS,with BFME being a base builder THEN attack (Usually 40 minute matchs for me on Brutal) and with TWR being a non-base builder, with no builders, just your forces you currently have in that country
I recommend the game " Tales of Maj'Eyal ".
