I have two main ones that you may or may not have played: The Walking Dead (By Telltale) or Katawa Shoujo. (KS is a free visual novel)
Buy any pinball or pong game for 40 bucks and it will make you cry.
to the moon its a story based game and is really emotional and has a great story if u want something more emotional than this go play heavy rain on ps3
BioShock: Infinite (One of the best Games with i've played)

Bureau: XCOM Declassified (Very Nice Game from the creators of BioShock)

Fahrenheit?

Awesome game.

I'd suggest Amnesia: The Dark Descent.

What? Fear's an emotion. >.>
I think a problem with games is that most of them don't even regard pacing. They usually have you shoot up a bunch of people, and then thrust you right into a cutscene, and it's usually very ineffective because my bloods all pumping, palms all sweaty, etc. and I'm actually much too restless to be responsive to whatever the game developers want me to feel.

I think HL2 really takes the cake as to what they did. If they want you to feel threatened, they do it on the spot, making you react then and there. If they want you to feel something, they give you a bit of a rest first, so I'm more prepared to take in what they want to say.

Also, I wanna know if BS:Infinite has too much shooting in it. I like FP, but not so much S.

The whole Half Life series was amazing.
Mafia II had pretty decent pacing, but it's a hit or miss on whether you like it (I loved it).
